THE South Coast District Bowls Association has released its schedule for the 2009 pennant season.

Round one will be held on Saturday, February 21. Rounds will be played each Saturday, although there will be a double-header on the weekend of March 14-15.

The final round of sectional play will be contested on Saturday, May 2 before the play-off on Sunday, May 3.

Meantime, bowlers interested in becoming coaches should contact district coaching chairman Noel Hird on 4443 4961.

Anyone who wants to become an umpire should phone district umpires chairman Bill Maloney on 4443 3819.

There will be some big tournaments played next week, with the Nowra Mixed Pairs on Sunday and the Bomaderry Twilight Triples next Wednesday.
