WHEN it was established more than 30 years ago and soy sauce was a rarity on supermarket shelves, the Oriental Source Asian food store broke new ground in Geelong. An eat-in/takeaway lunch menu was added and regulars flooded in for the salt and pepper squid, steaming bowls of pho, complimentary jasmine tea, and from Thursday to Saturday the best curry laksa in town. When this local institution closed its doors, withdrawal symptoms set in. But after a snappy refit and revamped menu (almost everything is under $10), it's business as usual again.
