Nsw Premier League Finals Begin Friday

The 2008 Bowls NSW Premier League finals start on Friday with the sudden-death preliminary semi-finals. On Friday, third-placed Cabramatta Bull Ants host the sixth-placed Engadine Cougars, which feature former South Pacific champion Shane Garvey. On Saturday, Maitland City Hunters (fourth) will host Raymond Terrace Jets (fifth). On May 24, minor premiers St Johns Park Saints will face second-placed Taren Point Power for a spot in the grand final. At the same time, the preliminary semi-final winners will face off for a spot in the final. The grand final will be played on May 25 at Toronto Workers Club.
