Young Stars Make Ias Cut

THE Illawarra Academy of Sport lawn bowls program kicked off last weekend.

Sixteen of the region's most promising young bowlers made the IAS cut after a trial last Sunday at Warilla Bowls Club.

The group, under the tutelage of head coach Eric Johannes and assistant Shaun Parnis, will meet again on Wednesday, May 28.

The squad is Curtis Meredith (Albion Park), Dylan Robinson (Dapto), Sarah Boddington (Huskisson), Aaron Spears (Warilla), Blake Hofman (Corrimal), Tom Shapcott (Huskisson), Dale Samaha (Towradgi), Sean Mawdsley (Dapto), Justine Walsh (Warilla), Troy Ford (Dapto Citizens), Michael Bayo (Warilla), Kyle Johannes (Warilla), Jesse Noronha (Warilla), Wilson Patuwai (Warilla), Jenna Hurst (Dapto Citizens), Suzana Stojcevska (Warilla). Manager is Neil Bayo.
