IRISH international Jeremy Henry and his quartet of Chris Green, Australian international Barrie Lester and Kiwi representative Ali Forsyth were masterful for Taren Point when they won their first NSW Premier League bowls competition at Toronto Workers yesterday.

Taren Point defeated defending titleholders St Johns Park 55-41 despite winning only one rink in the decider.

Henry's side shut the St Johns Park four of Mark Berghofer, Lee Such, Matt Flapper and Nathan Rice, the best-performed Saints rink all year, out of the contest.

They won the rink 28-4 and only allowed Saints to score on three ends during the match.

Green and Lester were precise with their draw shots all day, and Forsyth and Henry hit their on shots with pinpoint accuracy.
