2019 Australian Championships: Queensland clean sweep the Pairs field

by Bowls Australia

It was Queensland’s day at the 2019 Australian Championships, clean sweeping the Pairs field to collect both Men’s and Women’s gold medals.

Victoria Point’s Jade Groenewege and Sean Baker romped to their second-straight Men’s Pairs title at the event, while Broadbeach pairing Katelyn Inch and Julie Keegan navigated their way through a star-studded Women’s field for the title.

Queensland now has three from a possible four gold medals to start the 2019 Australian Championships, after winning the Women’s Triples gold medal on Day 1.
