2020 Burnside Pairs: Wedlock & Wilson secure title
BCiB Australian Jackaroos Corey Wedlock and Aaron Wilson have sounded an ominous warning ahead of the Trans Tasman Test Series in a fortnight’s time with victory in the 2020 Burnside Pairs in Christchurch, New Zealand.
By virtue of topping their section, Wedlock and Wilson were thrust into the Division 1 post-sectional rounds and made their way through to the final, defeating Sean O’Neill and Shaun Scott 17-4 in the decider.
Elsewhere, Lynsey Clarke and Rebecca Van Asch also found their way through to the Division 1 post-sectionals, finishing in equal seventh-place, while Jayden Christie and Carl Healey secured the Division 2 honours.
