2020 World Singles Champion of Champions cancelled
As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic, World Bowls (WB), in consultation with Bowls Australia and the host venue, has confirmed its decision to cancel this year’s World Singles Champion of Champions, which was set to be staged at Adelaide Bowling Club from late October.
In making the announcement, WB also confirmed that the next staging of the event in 2021 would be in the latter part of the year, with negotiations ongoing in regards to dates and venue.
Australia’s Ray Pearse and Dawn Hayman were set to compete in the event.
WB is expected to clarify the qualification process for the 2021 event in due course.
