2021 Awards Night to be held Friday, December 3

Bowls Australia’s (BA) coveted Awards Night will again be held virtually in 2021, as a result of yet another turbulent year caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, bowls’ night of nights will be broadcast live on BA’s Facebook page from 7:30pm AEDT, Friday, December 3 for anyone around the world wishing to tune in.

The 11th staging of the Awards Night will celebrate and recognise the achievements of many players, officials, volunteers and clubs from around the nation, for their success over the past 12 months, across ten coveted award categories.

  • Aero Bowls Volunteer of the Year
  • Blooms The Chemist Official of the Year
  • APIA Coach of the Year
  • DrinkWise Club of the Year
  • BCiB Bowler with a Disability of the Year
  • City of Gold Coast Under-18 Female Bowler of the Year
  • Tourism and Events Queensland Under-18 Male Bowler of the Year
  • Sport Australia Male Bowler of the Year
  • Commonwealth Games Australia Female Bowler of the Year

Due to the absence of international events throughout the 2020/21 calendar, there will be no International Bowler awards handed out in 2021.
