Western Australia and New South Wales will be represented in the 2023 BPL Cup final after Ettalong and Victoria Park Carlisle recorded semi final wins at Club Pine Rivers on Wednesday.

Both teams secured straight set victories in their respective semi finals to book a spot in the decider to be played on Thursday.

Finishing second in their section behind Ettalong, WA’s Victoria Park Carlisle battled it out with South Australia’s Grange.

The two sides shared honours in the first set with five shots apiece, before the WA club made their move.

A 7-2 second set win saw them across the line and into the final, vying to be the second WA club to win the BPL Cup after South Perth’s efforts in 2019.

In the all NSW semi, it was Ettalong getting the better of Young to book a spot against Victoria Park Carlisle.

Not much separated the sides, with Ettalong coming away 7-4, 7-6 winners, keeping their unbeaten run at Club Pine Rivers alive.
