Airline offerings in relation to changed/cancelled flights

See below for a list of the currently known offerings from Australian airlines in relation to changed or cancelled flights as a result of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic.

The information below may assist participants in altering their travel plans as a result of the changes to a number of major events, including the 2020 World Bowls Championships and Australian Open.

Virgin Australia

No change fees on domestic and international (new and existing) bookings. For travel until June 30, 2020.

Jetstar

Option to cancel and receive a credit voucher on all new & existing flight bookings with travel dates until May 31, 2020.

Tigerair Australia

Guests who are booked to travel within the next four weeks are being provided with the option to retain their flight booking in the form of a credit. To request a credit, please complete the Flight Credit Request Form.

Guests with new or existing bookings for travel between 15 March through to 30 June 2020 have the option to change their flight to a later date and/or to a different destination, without incurring a change fee.

Qantas

Any customers holding tickets for domestic and international travel now have the ability to cancel their booking and retain the value as flight credit. Available until 31 March 2020 for travel booked up to 31 May 2020.
