Bowls Australia welcomes Genevieve Delves to Board

by Bowls Australia on November 12, 2021

Bowls Australia (BA) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) virtually on November 9, 2021.

At the meeting, Matt Burgess was re-appointed to the Board of Directors and current Australian Jackaroo Genevieve Delves was elected to the Board, replacing Wayne Moffatt, who served for just under two years.

Delves’ ascendance to the Board brings a wealth of leadership and knowledge both on and off the green, with her career as a Jackaroo coupled with her position within Fire and Rescue NSW and former professions as a police officer and Indigenous youth worker on the Cape York Peninsula.

BA President Bob Boorman welcomed Delves to the board and is looking forward to her contribution to the many areas being dealt with by the Board.
