BowlsLink expands into Queensland

by Bowls Australia on July 29, 2020

Following numerous enquiries over recent months, Queensland clubs and districts will now be able to access part of Bowls Australia’s (BA) BowlsLink system.

For a one-off charge of $250 per club or $500 per district, organisations will be provided use of BowlsLink websites as well as the Rink Booker function.

Launched earlier this year as part of BA’s COVID-19: Return to Bowls Plan, Rink Booker allows clubs to manage player numbers per green, particularly helpful to follow relevant government-set capacity restrictions.

As part of the $500 fee for districts, all clubs within that area as well as the district itself will receive BowlsLink websites, as well as Rink Booker access.

Clubs can apply for a BowlsLink website by clicking here. A user guide to enable the set up of Rink Booker can be found by clicking here.

Clubs and districts from elsewhere around the country already have access to these functions, with positive feedback for both.

“It is exciting to be able to extend our services even further,” BowlsLink manager Kelvin Rodgers said.
