Road to the BPL Cup broadcast schedule

by Kelsey Cottrell on December 18, 2018

Bowls Australia is proud to announce the broadcast schedule for 10 and a half hours of BPL Cup action coming to your screens early in the New Year.

During the BPL Cup National finals back in November, the quarter-final stages and onward were filmed to feature on Fox Sports and the first episode will kick off at 5:30pm on January 8 2019.

The BPL Cup National Finals were hotly contested with 16 teams winning an expenses-paid trip to Club Pine Rivers during the staging of BPL08; a huge achievement considering there was a record-breaking 600+ teams entering this year’s competition.

Bowlers are always screaming out for more bowls on the box and Bowls Australia has delivered, in conjunction with our broadcast partners Fox Sports Australia and Croc Media, an extra 10 and half hours of action will feature across seven days in January and February 2019.

The BPL Cup is an opportunity for club land bowlers to mix it with the best at the Bowls Premier League, whilst also playing the Bowls Australia fast-paced Jack Attack format with a chance to win a national title.

Above all, the chance to play on the televised rink at Club Pine Rivers in front of hundreds of spectators and feature on Fox Sports is something a grassroots sports-person wouldn’t have the opportunity to do in many other sports.

So lock the following dates and times into your calendar to see what the BPL Cup is all about.

Keep a look out for the BPL Cup’s return in 2019 and be sure to enter for your chance to feature at the National Finals during BPL10.
