BPL15: Pulse capitalise on moving day, finals spots to go down to the wire

Seven teams remain in the mix for finals spots ahead of the final two rounds of BPL15, after an intriguing moving day at Club Pine Rivers.

After a day full of tight contests, the evening saw all five broadcast games go to tie-breaks.

Melbourne Pulse were the biggest winners of the day, moving into top spot to sit a game clear and give themselves the best chance possible at a double-chance finals berth.

A tight win over Melbourne rivals eXtreme in the night match helped the Pulse maintain top spot heading into the final day.

The Pirates and Steamers slipped slightly, but have been good enough to hold onto second and third place respectively.

The eXtreme sit in fourth with nine wins, clear of the Tasmania Tridents on net set points.

The Tridents snuck their way into fifth spot with an impressive fight back after a few difficult days.

The Adelaide Pioneers sit one win outside a finals berth after 16 rounds, while reigning champions Sydney Lions will be relying on results to go their way if they are to defend their title.

Two wins outside the five, the Lions need to win both remaining matches on Friday, while hoping at least two of the Pioneers, Tridents and eXtreme drop matches.

The Suns, Hawks & Ospreys are all out of the finals equation, but can still play key parts in determining which teams will hang onto the remaining finals places.

Two rounds remain to be played on Friday before finals action on Friday night.
