Club Manly has been working hard to establish their bowling club as a premier facility Australia wide with a number of new initiatives taking place during 2018 and beyond.

The Club has recently unveiled their second covered carpet green; now with two international standard indoor greens players from all over Australia are coming to play at Club Manly, rain hail or shine.

Club Manly recently employed a Bowls Coordinator, Toni Donda comes to the club with excellent bowls experience as both a competitive player and business administrator.

A new Open Super Singles event on Thursday nights is full of players from across Brisbane competing fortnightly, including the likes of cricketing legend Kepler Wessels.

Club Manly is committed to run more open gender events in 2019 and offer a wider range of bowls competitions for their members and visitors.

They will field teams in Divisions one to five of Premier League Queensland 7s tournament that commences in early January; this will be a great step forward for the club and offer members more opportunity to play top-level bowls on the weekends.

Social bowls events are run for ladies and men throughout the week, to find more information about their social bowls program see their website for details.
