Port Macquarie & surrounds
The club boasts three bars, two dining destinations, three and a half top-grade bowling greens, function and conference facilities. For 80 years now, Port City Bowling Club has opened its doors to the community, known as the only locally-owned club within Port Macquarie CBD.
Overlooking the beautiful Camden Haven River and only minutes from Dooragan National Park (North Brother Mountain) and patrolled beaches, Club North Haven provides year-round activities and entertainment for residents of the Camden Haven and visitors to the Mid North Coast of NSW. Situated 30 minutes south of Port Macquarie, the club is home to some 300 bowling members and offers all the hospitality services you could ask for.
Home to the ‘Big Bowl’, which is said to be the largest bowl in the world measuring 1.907 mm (6’2″) in diameter and weighing two tonnes, Lake Cathie offers three well-maintained greens and a casual environment for visitors. The Lakeview Bistro serves classic & innovative dishes, melt-in-your-mouth seafood, steaks, burgers and mixed grills.
Coffs Harbour
Featuring three world-class greens with a breathtaking ocean backdrop, Park Beach Bowling Club is perfect for both competitive and barefoot bowls. Open seven days for lunch and dinner, Driftwood Dining and Café offers a delicious, seasonal menu the whole family will enjoy including steaks, seafood, salads, roasts, pastas as well as a range of classic favourites.
Northern Rivers
Nestled among historic Norfolk Pines, the Yamba Bowling and Recreation Club has been providing a sporting and community centre since the 1930s. Today the club not only offers bowls on three and a half immaculate greens, but entertainment and activities for every member of your family including bars, eateries, entertainment areas for adults and children, and other great facilities. The club is a perfect destination for families, with a bowling alley, putt putt course and indoor rock climbing sure to keep the kids occupied.
Home to the Ballina Bowls Club, Cherry Street Sports offers a range of sporting offerings including bowls, tennis, croquet and fishing. With wonderful dining and cafe facilities, the club is extremely active with fundraising and encouraging kids, the ‘Little Cherries’, to get involved with all the activities the club has to offer.
The Country Club is perched distinctly within the amphitheatre and enjoys the most spectacular ocean views, down to the captivating Cape Byron and its famous lighthouse. While the back outdoor deck overlooks the pristine golf course and Koonyum Ranges, with the course possessing a great reputation as a renowned Championship golf course, set in an area of natural flora with tidal lakes, rivers and mountain ranges as a backdrop. The two beautifully maintained bowling greens overlook the golf course setting the scene for your total holiday sporting package.
The club is situated right on the beach at Kingscliff and boasts some of the best ocean views on the coast. Kingscliff has three first class bowling greens ready for both the serious bowler and the barefoot bowler, the Waves Function Room catering for all of your wedding & function needs and the Blue Pacific Bistro and café providing quality food at great prices.
