Dandenong Pro Am

An exciting new event, the Dandenong Pro Am bowls tournament, is searching for the final two teams to compete amongst the sport’s Pros and fellow Club representatives.

The Pro Am will see 16 ‘Pro’ bowlers, consisting of Jackaroos, emerging/former Jackaroos, Victorian and an International representative, teamed up with 16 pairs of ‘Club’ bowlers in a three match BPL-style shoot-out for $3,000 in prize-money.

Held at the new undercover green at The Dandenong Club on the afternoon of Friday, March 15, the event will serve as a great fundraiser for recently affected clubs across the country, with proceeds going towards the Bowls Australia Disaster Relief Fund.

The tournament will be showcased on Rinkside Live and live streamed via Bowls Australia’s Facebook page.

Some of the sport’s most credentialed players will line-up among the Pros, including Barrie Lester (VIC); Chloe Stewart (QLD); Aaron Teys (NSW); Wayne Ruediger (SA); Jesse Noronha (NSW); Corey Wedlock (NSW); Matt Ellul (VIC); Tiffany Brodie (VIC); Gary Kelly (NIR); Wayne Turley OAM and more.

Following the competition, a two-course dinner will commence from 7pm, which will include a great raffle, auction items, interviews with Jackaroos and entertainment provided by the evening’s MC, comedian Dave O’Neill.

For non-competitors, tickets to the dinner are available for purchase from the Club (details in the flyer below).

The event is strictly limited to 16 teams, with just two team spots remaining available.

If you are interested in securing one of the final two team positions, please complete the entry form below and return it to the Dandenong Club as soon as possible.
