BA is searching for a CCDO to help shape the future of the sport in NSW. Bowls Australia is searching for a Community Development Officer to help shape the future of the sport in NSW.

Bowls Australia has began recruitment for a new CDO charged with the growth and development of the sport in Riverina region of NSW.

Reporting to both the Bowls Australia Community Development Officer Manager, the Bowls NSW Sports Development Manager and the NSW Womens’ Bowling Association CEO, the Community Development Officer will work within their regional area to increase participation and membership within the sport of bowls; provide support to clubs with business planning, member recruitment/retention, governance, funding, programs, information technology and volunteer strategies; implement whole-of-sport programs delivered at club level; increase the quantity and quality of coaches and officials; and accurately record local membership and participation data.

In order to provide the best possible service to clubs, the Community Development Officer will not have a central base and will instead travel extensively throughout their designated region. In order to facilitate the need to visit and assist clubs, a motor vehicle has been included in the salary package.
