Australian Open

The World’s Biggest Bowls Festival will again hit the sunny Gold Coast from June 13-26, 2020.

With $250,000 in prize money and a freshly renovated venue hot off the back of the Commonwealth Games, this competition will see plenty of people ready to roll up.

The wonderful Gold Coast and its fantastic clubs will again host a massive field of bowlers from across Australia and beyond, who will be competing for a share of the prize purse of over $250,000.

The transition of the Australian Open to the Gold Coast in 2015 was seen as a significant pillar in the development of this international calibre event and the positioning of South East Queensland as the natural hub of bowls in Australia.

We look forward to seeing you at the World’s Biggest Bowls Festival, on the Gold Coast in 2020!
