Team background
The Tweed Heads Ospreys entered the BPL for the first time at the BPL10 event in November 2019 at Club Pine Rivers and left the Brisbane-based club with the title. Led by experienced BPL star Aaron Teys, the Ospreys were the standout at BPL10, both on the green and off it, with sky blue supporter wear littered among the stands. The Ospreys amassed three titles from their first four events and now have a record equalling four crowns after victory at BPL18.
Club Tweed, the mega NSW/QLD border club is a familiar venue to the Australian bowling fraternity, as the home of the prestigious Australian Indoor Championships and Golden Nugget events.
