Expression of Interest – National Selectors
An exciting opportunity to help shape the nation’s success on the world stage is currently available to suitable candidates, with Bowls Australia (BA) calling for expressions of interest for its National Selector positions which next fall due for appointment on 1st May 2024.
National Selectors play a critical role in determining the sport’s top high-performance squad, the Right at Home Australian Jackaroos, in addition the Emerging Jackaroos, Para Jackaroos and Pathways squads, as well as the selection of athletes for international competition.
BA is searching for up to three experienced Selectors to contribute to the National Selection Panel.
National Selectors cannot be current members of a State or Territory Association Selection Panel.
The successful applicants will be provided an iPad for communication and game statistics purposes and will receive a base honorarium with all expenses incurred in relation to the duties performed as a National Selector covered by BA.
The position would ideally suit someone with extensive state and international playing experience.
The term of the appointment will be determined by the BA Board and is likely to be from May 2024 through to the next Commonwealth Games and/or major World Bowls event; with the details of each still to be determined and announced.

Expressions of Interest
All expressions of interest must be received on the prescribed form (enclosed below) and emailed to BA’s CEO Matthew Kennedy at mkennedy@bowls.com.au to be considered by Bowls Australia’s Board that is charged with the final approval of the successful candidate.
Expressions of interest close at midday on Wednesday 24th April 2024 and late applications can not be accepted.
