Glowing praise from newest BowlsLink users in Queensland

Bowls Australia’s (BA) BowlsLink system continues to impress administrators and bowlers across the country, with glowing praise this time coming from a Queensland district.

Following numerous enquiries over recent months, Queensland clubs and districts were recently given access to part of the BowlsLink system, drawing immediate positive reviews.

“A few years back Cunningham wanted to ‘get with the times’ and go online with its competition management and became involved with BA in the latter stages of the SportsTG system,” Cunningham District President Graham Lewis said.

“This was a huge step up from our previous pen and paper days.”

Mr Lewis said the system offers plenty of upside for everyone in his district.

“Since coming on board with BowlsLink we are now starting to enjoy the many benefits and features the purpose built BowlsLink system has to offer that were not previously available,” he said.

“Features such as Player/Skip ladders are now being produced. In 2020 we are only conducting a Div. 1 Pennant season and very limited District events due to Covid-19 however when we get back to full competition in 2021 features such as these will be invaluable to our District and Club Selectors.”

Mr Lewis said the variety of features as well as the system’s ease of use make it an exciting introduction.

“My IT skills are limited yet I am able to navigate the BowlsLink system comfortably,” he said.
