Kombat Teamwear announcement
Bowls Australia’s official licensee Kombat Teamwear Pty Ltd has changed its name to Aspect Sportswear.
The Company has taken this decision as a result of the emergence of an unrelated entity trading as Kombat Sportswear Pty Ltd.
CEO Brian Waldron said “We believe there is likely to be some confusion about the ‘Kombat’ brand so we have determined it best to bring forward next years planned name change. It provides clarity and will allow us to concentrate on growing our business”.
“We remain committed to providing superior quality and service to the Bowls community”, Waldron said.
Bowls Australia Chief Executive Officer Neil Dalrymple also reinforced that the change is in name only.
“Kombat Teamwear, now Aspect Sportswear, have been a long term licensee of Bowls Australia and we understand and support the need for the name change to ensure there is no confusion in the market and that the service provided by them over many years will not change as a result.”
Please note that the new Kombat Sportswear Pty Ltd is not an official licensee of Bowls Australia and therefore are not able to accept orders, use the Bowls Australia logo or produce apparel under licence from Bowls Australia.
Existing apparel carrying the existing Kombat Teamwear logo is still able to be worn but any new orders for apparel will now carry the Aspect Sportswear Pty Ltd logo.
All the staff and sales representatives remain unchanged at Aspect Sportswear.
