New CDO for SE South Australia
Bowls Australia and Bowls SA are delighted to announce the appointment of Daniel Lawlor to the position of Community Development Officer (CDO) for the Southern and Eastern region of South Australia.
He replaces Mark Easton from the position as a result of Mark’s appointment to the role of General Manager – Bowls SA following the departure of Ben Scales from that role late last year.
Daniel joins the bowls community following his most recent experience as the STARCLUB Field Officer for the Mid North region of SA which included the role of liaising as assisting all sporting and community recreation organisations situated in the local government areas of the northern regions and councils of South Australia and assisting them in developing business structures, strategic plans and strategies for participation and membership growth.
Bowls Australia employs 16 Community Development Officers throughout every state and territory to assist bowls clubs in various aspects of their business and club operations and to further enhance and strengthen the relationships between key stakeholders, Bowls Australia and clubs in metropolitan and regional areas.
