Bowls Australia is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Aero Bowls, one of the world’s fastest growing bowls manufacturers, as Bowls Australia’s preferred bowls supplier.

In a very short space of time, Aero Bowls have become a leading brand of bowls and bowling equipment and apparel in Australia and Bowls Australia thanks Aero Bowls for its commitment to support and further promote the sport in this country.

“Aero Bowls have had an enormous impact on the Bowls market in Australia and we are very pleased to have them in our stable of commercial partners. Bowls Australia looks forward to a long and rewarding partnership with Aero Bowls with our strategic vision to make Bowls The Sport for Life,” Bowls Australia CEO Neil Dalrymple said.

“Aero Bowls have established a strong and successful ambassadorial program with many of Australia’s leading bowlers including 2006 Commonwealth Games Singles Gold Medallist and current national selector Kelvin Kerkow, 2006 Commonwealth Games Triples Gold Medallist Wayne Turley and World Champion and current Australian Jackaroo Brett Wilkie and we look forward to joining Team Aero to build the profile of bowls throughout Australia,” Dalrymple added.

Aero Bowls CEO Walter Jacobs said “To be able to establish an official commercial partnership with Bowls Australia, our peak sporting body for the game is an honour and we will work with them closely to generate more interest in the game.

“We are very pleased that we can now use the Bowls Australia logo as a full licensee and in 2014 we will introduce a range of clothing that will change the market just as we have changed the game forever with our exceptionally accurate bowls.”

The partnership between Bowls Australia and Aero Bowls is effective immediately including being an event partner of the next major event on the bowls calendar, the $140,000 Australian Open which will be staged over five days from February 16 at the Darebin International Sports Centre in Melbourne.
