The inaugural Rainbow Versatility Pairs event at Club Tweed finished in style on Friday as 2021 Australian Open over 60’s men’s pairs champions Max Jaffray and Neville Jenkins took home the title.

In it’s maiden running, the tournament headed by Right at Home Para Jackaroo Serena Bonnell exhibited some sensational action as the eventual champions went undefeated throughout their three games and earned a prize packet of $1,200.

However, the title and podium would be decided by shots as the top four teams all enjoyed unblemished outings.

Jaffray and Jenkins were plus 62 at the top of the pecking order, while Roger and Bronwyn Stevens earned silver and $800 with plus 38.

Para Jackaroo Damien Delgado and his partner John Delgado came in third with plus 35 ahead of Shauna O’Neill and Chloe Wilson at plus 29.
