How old were you and why did you first take up bowls:
I was about 12 years old. Mum had started bowling a couple of years before i did so I used to have to go and watch her every Saturday afternoon once tennis had finished. Eventually, I decided to have a go!

First tournament victory:
Junior State Singles (maybe 2003 or 2004)

Toughest Singles opponent:
Jo Edwards. Because she is the benchmark in women’s bowls.

Who has had the most influence on your career:
All my past and present Australian coaches and assistant coaches have helped me improve my game.

Favourite bowler while growing up:
I looked up to Karen Murphy. Would always watch games on ABC.

Funniest Jackaroo teammate:
Lynsey Clarke. Never ceases to make everyone laugh.

Things left on your bucket list:
Growing the family has just been ticked off the list, therefore finish renovating our house, more travelling and become the Marketing Manager for Tennis Australia!

First album you bought:
Not sure but would have been either Spice Girls or Hanson in the late ’90s.

Favourite holiday destination:
Favourite place I’ve been is Egypt but a scary place to holiday regularly! Therefore I’d have to say Hawaii.

Favourite movie:
I was always a sucker for the Notebook.

Favourite TV series:
Was Greys Anatomy but during COVID I’ve watched Rebel Wilson’s comedy show, LOL and it is hilarious!

Favourite band or musician:
I enjoy listening to music but never remember the name of the songs or singers! No favourite.

Jackaroo with the best taste in music:
Ellen Ryan always plays a wide variety of music on the bus!

Favourite carb:
Pasta

Favourite meal after a day on the green:
Steak & vegetables or stirfry.

What meal is your speciality to cook:
Anything that takes less than 30 minutes.

Chocolate in the fridge. Yes or no:
Yes

Milo. Hot or cold:
Don’t drink Milo or even milk!

Pineapple on pizza. Yes or no:
Absolutely

Parma or Parmi:
Parmi

Coriander. Yes or no:
Nope

Cats or Dogs.
Dogs

Who inspires you:
It’s changed over the years, now my daughter inspires me! She’s a clever little cookie and having a child makes problems or worries seem insignificant.

Proudest non-bowls accomplishment:
Becoming a mother.

Most embarrassing childhood memory:
Stuffing up steps in the school musical in the front row.

The Block

Who would you like to swap places with for a day:
The manager of Serena Williams.
