Stockland coaching clinics to roll out across the country

by Lachlan Williams on March 3, 2020

Communities across the country will soon have the chance to learn from Bowls Australia (BA) accredited coaches, with clinics commencing at Stockland Retirement Villages from this week.

Free bowls clinics will be run by nationally accredited coaches for both Stockland Village residents and interested community members as part of BA’s ongoing partnership with Stockland.

The one-hour clinics will provide participants with the chance to pick bowls tips and hints and to sharpen their skills or change their technique.

The first of several community clinics will be held at Stockland’s Grange Retirement Village in Adelaide (33 Sylvan Way, Grange SA 5022) on Wednesday, March 4 from 10am-11am.

Anyone interested in the participating in session can contact The Grange Retirement Village on 1800 72 71 70.

The community coaching sessions are one of many ways in which Stockland is taking steps to help keep retirement living residents – and the wider ageing community – fit and active as they continue to grow older.

Stockland has dedicated Wellbeing Coordinators across many of its villages who work with residents on programs to keep them healthy and active.

Stockland community bowls clinics will continue across the country in a range of areas in the coming months.

Details of upcoming Stockland community coaching clinics will be confirmed at a later date.
