A triumvirate of Perth clubs will serve as host venues at the 2023 Nationals, set to be played in Western Australia in October.

Joondalup, Sorrento, and Warwick have all been locked in to host the collection of national competitions to take place from October 6-20.

The event will get under way on October 6, with Sorrento hosting the Australian Champion of Champions and Under 18 National Championships (Oct 6-7), while Warwick plays host to the Para Nationals (Oct 6-9).

Competition will then head north along the coast to Joondalup, where the Australian Senior Sides Championships taking place from October 8-11.

Sorrento will host its third and final event, the Australian Sides Championships, from October 13-16, before the Nationals wrap up at Joondalup with the Australian Championships from October 17-20.

Bowls WA CEO Ken Pride said all three clubs are deserving to host an event as large as The Nationals, and there is plenty to look forward to.

“Planning is already underway for what will be a fantastic two weeks of bowls,” he said.

“Our three host clubs are incredibly enthusiastic to showcase our sport and provide a great experience for the players and spectators, both local and those visiting from interstate.”

The Nationals is the first national event to be hosted in Western Australia since the 2019 Australian Champion of Champions was staged at South Perth.
