Update to the Laws of the Sport
At the recent World Bowls (WB) Council Meeting (June 2020), some revisions to the Laws of the Sport were approved.
WB recently listed the changes it has made to the Laws of the Sport and has published these changes in an edition entitled Version 3.2.
Many of these changes were able to be incorporated into an updated law book BA produced last year, The Laws of the Sport, Version 3.1 (May 2019).
This is the current law book that all officials and clubs in Australia should be using.
For the sake of clarity and completeness, the following change should be noted with respect to the aforementioned BA publication.
- Law 17.2.5 – DELETE THIS LAW
- Appendix A.1.4.5:
- Delete the words “by players with a hearing disability” from A.1.4.5 – Arrangements for the use of electronic devices.
