by Aidan Davis on October 16, 2018

Western Australia (WA) and Queensland (QLD) emerged as the leaders of the pack following the opening round of the 2018 Australian Senior Sides Championships on Monday.

Held at both the Moonta and Wallaroo Bowling Clubs on the Yorke Peninsula, South Australia, WA and QLD were the only two states to win their opening rounds across both the Men’s and Women’s disciplines.

With a superior shot difference of +51 in the Men’s and +45 in the Women’s, WA sit on top as outright leaders on both ladders.

Bowls Australia (BA) will again be delivering Rinkside Live streaming to your devices on Day 2, with our featured match plus crosses to a secondary rink per session.
