Bowls Australia was extremely shocked and saddened this morning to hear about the passing of Greg Kelly.
For many years, Greg devoted an amazing amount of time and energy to our great sport, and was an integral part of the early success and growth of the Australian Indoor Championships when he was Bowls Coordinator at the Tweed Heads Bowls Club.
In recent times, Greg has put in many hours to promoting the sport online through his website and social media networks, and continued to write about the sport through various media channels.
Bowls Australia’s Board and Staff send their sincere condolences to Greg’s family and his many, many friends in the bowls community.
We are certainly unlikely to find a more passionate ambassador for the sport; he will be sorely missed by all in the bowls community.
