In consultation with the State and Territory Associations, a COVID-19 related National Club Survey was drafted by a working group at Bowls Australia (June, 2020).
This survey was circulated to all clubs (except those in South Australia*) on April 22, and closed on May 1, with the purpose being:
- To gain insights, feedback and assess what impact these shutdowns are having, including if Clubs may be affected to the point where they may not reopen;
- To gauge what planning/reorganisation that Clubs are undertaking and to get feedback on what support they may require and where BA and STAs may be able to assist;
- To collect data and information to support an approach to Federal, State and Local governments for financial support for their recovery.
