2019 UK Tour: Final Test against England underway

by Bowls Australia on July 21, 2019

The BCiB Australian Jackaroos have returned to Birmingham, England, with the fourth and final Test Series of the 2019 UK Tour underway against the Old Enemy.

On the penultimate day of the tour back at Royal Leamington Spa, the host venue of bowls for the 2022 Commonwealth Games, a strong England outfit took the upper hand in the open disciplines, while spoils were evenly split in the para-sport competition after Day 1.

The Jackaroos were particularly impressive in the Women’s Fours on the first day of what is a two-day test match against England, the sole test match the two nations will face each other in.

Bowls Australia would also like to extend its appreciation to Commonwealth Games Australia (CGA) for supporting and funding the BCiB Australian Jackaroos’ tour of the UK, in preparation for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
