National Rankings: September 2022
The top spots of the National Player Rankings remain unchanged following September’s update, but there have been some changes in the top fives.
In the men’s update, Aron Sherriff remains at number one with Right at Home Jackaroo Corey Wedlock jumping into second position ahead of Victoria’s Thor Shannon in third, who has also risen one place.
Recently crowned Male Bowler of the Year Nick Cahill has dropped from second to fourth but will expect to gain some points from the current 2022 Nationals.
Rounding out the top quintet is Cahill’s fellow Queenslander Kane Nelson who retains his place from last month.
In the women’s update, Kelsey Cottrell has maintained her gargantuan advantage at the top with a 202-point buffer over second placed Dawn Hayman, although it is slightly less than the 238-point lead she had last month.
Tasmanian and recently retired Jackaroo Rebecca Van Asch has retained her spot in third place ahead of South Australia’s Laini McGorman and 2022 International Female Bowler of the Year, Lynsey Clarke.
