Equipment storage space and/or at a minimum, space to assemble 2 x 40m containers;
Training/education room with AV/IT equipment – comfortable seating required for minimum of 30 people;
Meeting room/s – 1 x Board room (for up to 15 people) and 1 x meeting room (for up to 6 people);
Function area (Note: this could be incorporated into the undercover/indoor carpet green area);
On site commercial kitchen/catering facilities – room for a sink, fridge, microwave;
On site office and ancillary facilities for NBC staff and contractors – room for 15 work stations and 2-3 dedicated offices;
Sufficient car parking for a minimum of 20 people (also suitable access for buses and trucks);
Physiotherapy/massage/medical rooms (or access to locally);
Hydrotherapy pool/spa (or access to locally);
NBC shop (i.e. for merchandise and Bowls equipment) – room at least 4m x 4m;
Bowls Australia Hall of Fame and museum space – corridor and a room dedicated for history and memorabilia;
Appropriate disability access throughout.

Access to at least 1-2 outdoor greens – Tif Dwarf Australian surface;
Outdoor green (3 or 4 rink) – which can be resewn depending on the grass type of next benchmark event international venue;
Undercover/indoor synthetic or carpet green (can also be utilised for functions with appropriate covering and adjustments);
High quality lighting of each green for championship, tournament and potentially international play – minimum lux requirement of 200 lux for outdoor and 500 lux for indoor greens;
Ample water storage;
All associated equipment for play – boundary pegs, mats, jacks (outdoor and indoor), electronic scoreboards, umpiring kits, barefoot/second hand bowls, etc.
Bowls specific strength and conditioning facility and equipment or access to shared leisure centre or Gymnasium;
Video analysis meeting room and equipment.
