Aero Bowls has set in motion a renewed support of Bowls Australia (BA), re-establishing a formal relationship that saw them designated BA’s Official Bowls Manufacturer for an eight-year period from 2014 to 2022.

The rekindled partnership will ensure Aero Bowls has a prominent presence at this month’s BPL19 event in Moama, in addition to the world’s biggest and most lucrative bowls event, the $286,000 prize-money Australian Open on the Gold Coast in June.

Aero Bowls CEO Walter Jacobs said growth is crucial for clubs and Aero were pleased to once again work with BA to increase the profile and interest in the sport and its showpiece events.

“The Aero range of models, sizes, grips and over 65 colour variations, with rapid deliveries from their state-of-the-art robotic factory in Sydney, together with a bevy of the world’s best bowlers all using Aero form a strong foundation for a storybook that will encourage more to the game,” Jacobs said.

“Aero Bowls are sold world-wide and in Australia and New Zealand they dominate the landscape because of the “the same line every time” mantra, giving unrivalled confidence to bowlers using them.”

BA CEO Matthew Kennedy said Aero Bowls’ extensive innovation with bowls products is demonstrative of the desire for the sport to appeal to and reach a broader audience.

“Aero Bowls is certainly an innovator amongst the bowls industry, producing new styles and colours of bowls which adds to the colour and vibrancy of the sport and increases the sport’s appeal to new participants, spectators, consumers and broadcasters alike.”
