A renewed partnership with Carlton & United Breweries (CUB) and Asahi Beverages’ Club Connect program will provide benefits and incentives for bowls clubs across the country – including the launch of a competition whereby one bowls club will win a year’s supply of beer!*
Club Connect offers community sporting clubs* the ability to purchase all their packaged beverage requirements (beer, wine, spirits, soft drink, sports drink etc.) in a single location, at a great price and have the products delivered free-of-charge at a time that is convenient for the club.
Clubs can choose the date and time window for the product delivery, ensuring convenience for many volunteer-run venues with limited operating hours.
Importantly, clubs can earn cash back into a partnership fund on every purchase, which acts as a key fundraising tool for the club, and there is no sign-up fee, no contract, and no exclusivity.
Bowls Australia CEO Neil Dalrymple said the new partnership with Club Connect would provide convenient benefits for many bowls clubs.
“We’re really pleased to partner with Club Connect to offer local bowling clubs around the country a convenient option for beverage supply,” Dalrymple said.
“With many clubs being volunteer-run, Club Connect takes the hassle out of purchasing beverages with a simple online ordering process and importantly free delivery at a time and location that suits the lives of those responsible at the club.”
Bob the Bar Manager at Balnarring Bowls & Social Club registered for Club Connect in 2021 and has been an active user of the platform since then.
“Club Connect is definitely an easier solution for ordering most of the beverages for our bar. It was simple to sign-up, and we can now place the beverage order online and choose the date and time for the delivery to arrive, we also appreciate the updates with the delivery time.” Bob said.
“We have placed orders for CUB brand beers, non-alcoholic beer and also from their range of pre-mixed drinks. We’ve been accumulating the Partnership Fund and looking forward to accessing this for additional fundraising for the Club shortly.”
