Event: Bowls NSW State Championships
Event Tier: 3
Venue: Ettalong Memorial Bowls Club (103 Springwood Street, Umina Beach, NSW 2257)
Dates: Saturday, October 15 – Saturday, October 22, 2016
Anticipated entries: approximately 1,000 players in each event – qualifying events run across the state prior to the main carnival.
Maximum teams: none
Event Structure: The State Carnival runs as follows (each discipline is classed as it’s own rankings event):

Fours: October 15 & 16 – 21 ends
Triples: October 17 & 18 – 25 ends (2 bowls each)
Pairs: October 19 & 20 – 21 ends (4 bowls each, 2x2x2x2)
Singles: October 21 & 22 – 31 up

Open to: All affiliated bowlers; bowlers must qualify for the event through their various zones. For information on qualifying for this event, please contact your zone or RNSWBA directly.
Prize Money: $40,000 in total prize money available. Singles champion receives $3,900, Pairs champions receive $5,000, Triples champions receive $7,500 and Fours champions receive $10,000.
