#BPL08 – Day 3: Murray steam ahead
The Moama Murray Steamers have ended Day 3 of BPL08 as the ladder-leaders on set points.
Having won three of their four matches, highlighted by a prime-time demolition of the Perth Suns, the Steamers soared to top the standings with the Roys close behind.
The night session culminated in the Queensland Derby, which saw the Gold Coast Hawks defeat the hometown heroes, the Brisbane Pirates, in a frenetic tie-break finish.
Friday will see all teams play their remaining two sectional rounds each before the top four teams square off in the finals under lights.
