#BPL12: Day 4

Six teams were in the mix to play finals at #BPL12 going into the final preliminary rounds on Friday, making for some intriguing contests.

Sydney Lions, Perth Suns and Brisbane Pirates were vying for the fourth spot in the finals, with the Suns eventually claiming the place.

They faced the Lions in a do-or-die contest, going to a tie-break and coming down to the last bowl.

The Melbourne Pulse claimed top spot on the ladder, dropping just three matches in their preliminary rounds.

Adelaide Pioneers also earned a double chance, reaching the finals for the first time in franchise history.

Tweed Heads Ospreys will battle it out with the Suns in an elimination final, hunting for a second BPL title.

Tonight’s matches will be broadcast on Fox Sports, Kayo and Sky Sport NZ from 5pm AEDT.
