BPL19: Day 1 recap
The first day of #BPL19 action at the Moama Bowling Club has set up for a big week of Bowls Premier League action.
Three rounds of play took place on Monday, with none of the 10 franchises making it through the day without a loss.
Six teams ended the day with 2-1 records, with the Sydney Lions the clubhouse leaders after three rounds thanks to a +16 shot difference. Reigning champions Tweed Heads Ospreys are among the 2-1 teams.
Hometown team Moama Steamers left it until the final match of the day to record their first win.
After a difficult BPL18, Perth Suns have early inroads to make at Moama, finishing the first day of play without a win.

BPL19 runs from February 19-23, 2024, at Moama Bowling Club with live streaming on Bowls Australia’s Facebook Page and YouTube channel, as well as live broadcasts from Tuesday to Friday from 4pm until 10pm AEDT on Fox Sports, Kayo and Sky Sports NZ.
