Bowls Australia is seeking Expressions of Interest for National Selectors for a term beginning in January 2017 and concluding at the end of the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Bowls Australia is seeking Expressions of Interest for National Selectors for a term beginning in January 2017 and concluding at the end of the 2018 Commonwealth Games. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced bowls person to be involved in building on the tremendous success of the Australian Jackaroos at the recent World Championships.
Following on from medal performances in 7 of 8 disciplines in Christchurch, including 4 gold, these positions will play a critical role in determining the composition of the sport’s high-performance squad through 2017 and into the next benchmark event, the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast. The positions are ideally suited to someone with extensive state and/or international playing experience and an intimate knowledge of the sport.
Successful candidates must follow relevant selection guidelines as per the National Team Selection Policy and all other relevant Bowls Australia policies throughout their tenure.
