Get to know Australian Jackaroo Aron Sherriff a little better with Bowls Australia’s Q & A next week on our Facebook page. Bowls Australia has opened the doors for the general public to get to know your Australian Jackaroos a little better by initiating an online Q & A on our Facebook page.

On February 22 at 7pm AEDST Ettalong Memorials favourite son Aron Sherriff will spend an hour responding to your questions on Facebook Focus, engaging with his fans and offering expert tips on how to improve your game.

Aron Sherriff was part of the record breaking Australian World Bowls team in Adelaide 2012 where he skipped his fours team (Wayne Ruediger, Brett Wilkie and Mark Casey) to gold, and was narrowly defeated by Scotland in the pair’s final alongside Leif Selby.

Sherriff has now played 223 games for Australia, he has represented his country at two Commonwealth Games (Delhi and Glasgow) and you will have seen Aron Sherriff playing for the Sydney Lions during all three instalments of the revolutionary Australian Premier League.

Sherriff will head to New Zealand with the Australian Jackaroos at the end of next week to compete in the Trans-Tasman and 6 Nations International series held in Christchurch.

Sherriff has plenty of experience and is a great ambassador for other young bowlers coming through the ranks of Australian bowls.

Lock February 22 at 7pm AEDST into your calendars and get your questions ready for World Champion Aron Sherriff.
