Australia’s men’s triples GREEN team is guaranteed of a gold medal opportunity regardless of this session’s result, while the men’s pairs and women’s fours ultimate deciders will feature an Australian team, it’s just a matter of which one.

It’s poised to be an exciting finish to the first half of the disciplines, with GREEN team facing New Zealand and GOLD pitted against Canada.
Across the Broadbeach greens, the para-sport component of the event commenced with their opening round.
Again, Australia has two teams competing in the event, but as this is a qualifying event for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games in the para-sport event, only the GOLD team’s results count.
Lynne Seymour and Jake Fehlberg enjoyed a 15-12 opening win in the mixed pairs, while Tony Bonnell, Chris Flavel and Ken Hanson joined them in the winners’ circle, with a 23-11 victory in the bowlers with a disability open triples.
