National Rankings – February 2023

by Val Febbo on March 10, 2023

The tussle for the number one male ranking continues to ensue with the gap at the helm dwindling after an action packed February.

The latest National Rankings Update sees Right at Home Jackaroo Aron Sherriff remain on the top rung a measly 10 points ahead of his national teammate Corey Wedlock.

In third position is Victoria’s Thor Shannon who retains his spot but with a slender three point buffer over Queensland’s Nick Cahill in fourth.

Shannon’s fellow Victorian Colin Veenendaal rounds out the quintet, leaping back into the top five following a big month.

In the women’s rankings, usual proceedings have resumed with Kelsey Cottrell continuing her dominance over the rest of the field with a 242 point buffer over second placed Cassandra Millerick.

Millerick, fresh off her maiden BPL title in Moama, has retained her place behind Cottrell with New South Wales’ Dawn Hayman a further two points adrift.

Sarah Boddington Victoria’s Alison Hall remain within the top five as the calendar nears its climax.

Below are the latest National Player Rankings, as of February 28, 2023.
