National Rankings – January 2024

by Lachlan Williams on February 5, 2024

Nothing separates the top two male bowlers after the first National Rankings Update of 2024.

Tasmania’s Josh Walker-Davis has been joined by Queensland’s Jacob Nelson in equal top spot in the January update of the rankings standings.

Nelson collected 24 points in the previous month to move from second spot to level with Walker-Davis, who has sat atop the rankings since October 2023.

Corey Wedlock (NSW) had a mammoth first month of the year, collecting 91 points to move within five of the two leaders.

Lee Schraner (NSW) and Aron Sherriff (QLD) remain in the top five.

Once again, the top end of the women’s rankings remained completely unchanged, with Ellen Falkner (OS/UK) holding on to top spot for another month.

Note for all ranked players: Please check the spelling of your names and confirm the state you are registered to as to ensure records are kept up to date and accurate. Similar names with possible misspelling can result in players not being allocated the full amount of points. Email rankings@bowls.com.au for any rankings enquiries.
