by Val Febbo on April 11, 2022

The latest National Rankings Update for March has seen a change at the helm of the women’s rankings, while the men’s number one has maintained a healthy advantage at the top.

In the women’s update, Western Australians have stunningly secured the top three placings.

Laura Merz has leapfrogged from second to first, with Hailey Packer sitting a solitary point behind her state compatriot.

Lisa Featherby has risen from fourth to third, sharing her ranking with South Australia’s Laini McGorman, with the Northern Territory’s Sez James rounding out the quintet.

In the men’s update, reigning Male Bowler of the Year Corey Wedlock has had his lead trimmed but still holds a healthy 58-point buffer to second placed Thor Shannon.

Nick Cahill, Jacob Nelson and Colin Veenendaal remain in the top five, with Victoria’s Jay Bye-Norris adding his name into the mix in equal fifth.
