National Rankings – March 2023

No changes have occurred at the helm of the men’s or women’s categories following the National Rankings Update from an action packed March.

The women’s mountain sees Right at Home Jackaroo Kelsey Cottrell continue her reign at the summit with a staggering 422 points.

In second is Victoria’s Cassandra Millerick who remains 242 points behind Cottrell, with Dawn Hayman a further two points adrift in third place.

Tasmania’s Kim Saunders has taken the rankings by storm after leaping from 23rd to fourth after a sensational state championships in the Apple Isle, in which she clinched the singles, pairs and fours titles.

Rounding out the top five is New South Wales’ Sarah Boddington, who drops one position.

In the men’s update, Queensland’s Aron Sherriff maintains his hold on the number one position with his gap to second placed Corey Wedlock increasing to 58 points.

In third is Victoria’s Thor Shannon who trails Wedlock by a measly 16 points with Nick Cahill close behind in fourth.

Colin Veenendaal rounds out the quintet, two points shy of Cahill.

The National Rankings System operates on a yearly rolling-points system, where all points accrued are retained for a 12-month period and are then discounted. Players can accrue ranking points from all national events, State Championships, State Champion of Champion and selected club events.
